The Delmarva811 – A Public Safety Message will provide an overview to Delaware Title 26 and Maryland Title 12 laws. Each law relates to underground utility damage prevention and safety. Attendees will also receive guidance on the best management practices of following each law in a practical method. Finally, attendees will learn about the proposed law changes and how it will impact all stakeholders.
Mr. Jason Haynes is a Survey Division Manager and Reality Capture Director with over 20 years of experience providing survey services to private development and governmental clients. Mr. Haynes is the head and manager of the Reality Capture group, encompassing all services involving 3D HDLS and UAS technologies and is also a licensed drone pilot.
Mr. Jason Lyon has been a Board Member of Miss Utility of Delmarva since 2008. Since 2009, he has been the Chairman of the Law Change Committee, and he is currently the President of the organization. Mr. Lyon is employed by the City of Dover as the Director of Water & Wastewater / Engineering Services, where he oversees all Operational activities and Capital Improvement Projects.
