Today, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) announced the release of a new resource titled, Resources for Onboarding and Employment Screening. Designed for critical infrastructure organizational leaders, this new resource provides a simple list of resources and options that organizations can implement into their background check processes for new hires. Ultimately, the goal in conducting personnel vetting and background checks is to reduce the potential for insider threat activity.
