Drinking Water Sampling for Municipalities

Reminder: Municipal water operators are now responsible for collecting drinking water samples for their systems. The Office of Drinking Water will be hosting a class, Methods of Basic Water Sampling, to familiarize operators with standard operating procedures.

Methods of Basic Water Sampling will be held on the following dates:

• July 9, 2024 – 9 AM to 10:30 AM

• July 18, 2024 – 9 AM to 10:30 AM

Topics Covered: The class will cover sampling methods for VOCs, SVOCs, Cyanide, Anions, Pesticides , Full/Routine Chemistry, HAA5s, Herbicides, Trace Metals & Radionuclides according to prescribed EPA methods.
